About Me

I'm an aging white guy in San Diego County California. I'm happily married, gainfully employed, reasonably healthy, and have an interest in learning what makes the world tick. Clearly, I'm a skeptic. I'd also claim to being an atheist - but in the strict sense of the word. I'm not a theist. Period.

I don't believe there's a God, but I'm not 100% sure, because that's not a supportable position. I am, however, 99.999999999% sure. I'm also somewhat sympathetic to people of faith, which will pretty much get me kicked out of the Gnu Atheist club. I'm of the Phil Plait "Don't be a dick" persuasion - however I reserve the right to be a dick - arbitrarily, without warning and with exuberance. I am, after all, just an animal.
